Echinocereus fendleri f. monstrous

The monstrous shape of a cactus has anomalies in the shape or lack of thorns typical of its monstrosity; such anomalies will never be identical in plants making each of them unique and for this reason very sought after by collectors around the world. In its normal form it is a cactus with a solitary posture that with the growth can tuft. It has a cylindrical stem of bright green color equipped with irregular tuberculate ribs and with circular areoles spaced from each other. From the latter come out its characteristic twisted and flattened spines, with an unusual appearance of yellowish-white color.
