Echinocereus fasciculatus

E. fasciculatus is a small cactus, with globose stem and magnificent fuchsia flowers. Its stem is elongated and of intense green colour partially covered by thorns. It has slight ribs with whitish woolly areoles. Its spines are thin, of colours varying from white/yellow to pink and brown, and with the growth of the plant they become greyish and dark to the apices. During the flowering period, in March-April , we can observe beautiful large magenta flowers, which bloom at the apices of the plant.
