Echinocereus berlandieri

E. berlandieri is a columnar cactus very appreciated for its appearance. Its cylindrical stem, of intense green colour, has very marked tubercles, on which stand out sparse areoles well distant from each other. From the latter come out thin yellowish spines, at times characterized by showy shades that tend to darken the tips. During the flowering period, E. berlandieri gives wonderful flowers daisies, with thin and elongated petals, on the notes of bright colors such as fuchsia or pink.
