Echeveria 'Violet Queen'

It is a hybrid created by Edward Orpet. This succulent clusters easily, so it is very often jokingly called "plant hens and chicks", because it forms a beautiful carpet of up to 20 rosettes. It has long, fleshy, lanceolate leaves with a small tip at the apex, of a glaucous green color, which tend upwards; these leaves are arranged in the form of a beautiful lotus-shaped rosette. With exposure to the sun or in dry cold conditions, the succulent takes on purple-pink shades on the edges and tips of the leaves.
