Description:

The monstrous shape of this succulent has geometric anomalies, for example, sometimes asymmetrical protuberances or leaves of unusual shape, different for each individual exemplar, so much to make each of them absolutely unique and for this extremely sought after by collectors. The name of this peculiar plant comes from the Latin and literally means "rubella", making nice reference to the infectious disease to indicate its three-dimensional purple-red dots scattered infrequently along the leaf surface. From the typical compact rosette arrangement, its normal shape is formed by ovoid and strongly pointed leaves, in which the pale green epidermis quickly assumes pleasant reddish shades when exposed to sunlight, for a highly spectacular overall effect with a strong chromatic impact!

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer and suspend watering completely in autumn and winter.

The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
