Description:

This highly sought after succulent is undoubtedly one of the most loved and sought after hybrids, considered a variegated form of Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg': having a classic rosette arrangement, it does not reach considerable size, but this is compensated by the extraordinary variety of colors, with which its fleshy flat and slightly pointed leaves are tinged: they fade from light green to pink in the central part, to purplish and greyish-white along the surface. Sometimes these variegations take the form of rather defined stripes, other times the nuance is so homogeneous, that it is not possible to distinguish, where one color ends and where the other one begins. Another peculiarity of this succulent plant is its color change, according to the seasons, becoming lighter with high temperatures and tending to bluish tones in winter. The name 'Rainbow' fully represents the splendor of this rare succulent: it is nice to see, how in a single plant all these colors can pleasantly coexist!

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer and suspend watering completely in autumn and winter.

The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
