Echeveria 'First lady'

Nice succulent not present in nature, but obtained in the nursery from the crossing between two different specimens of Echeveria. This species shows a rather open rosette arrangement and of dimensions not exceeding about 12 cm; it is characterized by peculiar fleshy and large leaves, tending to widen at the apex assuming a roundish shape. Its original appearance is definitely given by the strongly wavy, almost ruffled margins, made even more showy by the pinkish nuance that outlines them. The skin of the succulent takes on pleasant light green tones, almost greyish, due to the waxy layer that covers it to protect it from atmospheric agents; the foliage subjected to abundant luminosity fades towards pinkish or reddish tones in perfect line with the color of its spring flowers. The final effect is absolutely spectacular, elegant and original at the same time!
