Description:

Its name 'elegans' comes from the Latin and means "elegant", also known as "Mexican Snowball": it is one of the most popular and beloved succulent. It is characterized by thin and obovate leaves with a slightly pointed apex, but one of its undisputed peculiarities is undoubtedly the beautiful turquoise color, extremely soft and delicate. The variegated shape of the succulent presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar will be absolutely unique! Its elegance and the delicacy of the chromatic tones, combined with the extremely symmetrical and soft shapes at the same time, make it perfect for the realization of pretty placeholders for your important events and for the creation of refined centerpieces.

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer and suspend watering completely in autumn and winter.

The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
