Description:

It is a wonderful cultivar, created in a Californian nursery to get a riot of colors really inimitable! It has the typical rosette shape that does not reach large sizes and, for this reason, is particularly suitable for decorating vases and interior spaces. However, it tends to branch abundantly, generating an extremely suggestive set of multiple rosettes. Its leaves are short and shiny, roundish and ending in a small tip; what is most striking is undoubtedly its epidermis, of a pleasantly variegated emerald green on the notes of pink, orange and sometimes white depending on the seasons, for a unique color mix. In spring the charm of E. Chroma' is amplified by small but graceful flowers of a nice bright yellow, which grow at the apex of long stems creating a really striking contrast!

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer and suspend watering completely in autumn and winter.

The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
