Echeveria cante

The name of the species was chosen to honor a Mexican botanical institute, although often the specimen is commonly known as a "white cloud" for its wonderfully soft shades. Arranged in the typical shape of a rather open rosette and able to reach even 30-40 cm in diameter, it has wide leaves, tending to narrow at the apex until ending in a showy tip. The foliage tends to bend slightly like a spoon, showing off the color as its real strength: on the notes of a beautiful lavender shaded bluish, E. cante is covered by a very abundant layer of whitish plum that gives it a candid appearance, slightly veiled by glaucous tones. To enrich the overall appearance, the succulent is adorned with finely drawn margins of pink that tend to accentuate when the plant is subjected to abundant sunlight, for an overall effect so delicate, tenuous and elegant to leave you speechless!
