This unusual succulent is of a rosette shape, typical for all Echeverias. Often it develops into several heads clustered together, which are very decorative, thanks to the two characteristics that give it its particular name: on one hand, the shape of the leaves is rather extravagant, they are, in fact, slightly curled, equipped with pointed “spurs” at the ends and protuberances along the center of the foliage, which are rough to the touch; on the other hand, its very cold bluish color is truly ornamental, especially, when exposed to the direct sun, it takes on beautiful pastel pink or even fuchsia shades at the edges!
