Echeveria ‘Black Prince’ f. variegated

This plant is a hybrid between 2 species: Echeveria shaviana and Echeveria affinis. The characteristic that distinguishes the E. ‘Black Prince’ f. variegata from its original form is just the variegation. It can be recognized and identified by carefully admiring the leaves that have various shades due to the lack of chlorophyll. It is a succulent plant with a rosette shape, usually solitary, which, while growing, can also tuft at the base. It is composed of triangular and oblong leaves, that end with a tip, initially of yellowish-green colour, which, with the growth, take a colouration varying from the wine red to the violaceous, up to dark brown. As they age, the lower leaves of the plant tend to widen (up to 2.5 cm) at their base.
