Dyckia argentea

It is one of the most spectacular species of the genus. It has a large symmetrical rosette, consisting of numerous leaves with indented margins, up to 60 cm long and up to 2-3 cm wide, which narrow towards the tip. The epidermis is of a light green color, covered with a dense layer of a whitish pruina that gives the plant a silver appearance, hence the name of the species. During the flowering period, it blooms with white flowers, often with pink-purple hues towards the tips. The Dyckia argentea is a very decorative plant, ideal for adorning rock gardens.
