Description:

It is a beautiful rosette-shaped succulent that can grow up to 10 cm in diameter. It has fleshy lance-shaped leaves, up to 6 cm long, of a glaucous green color, dusted by a dense layer of whitish pruina, from which the name of the species derives. Often the tips of the foliage take on an intense reddish color, which creates a spectacular chromatic effect. In summer, it produces a long peduncle, on which its small pale yellow flowers bloom.

Plant care:

It likes an exposure to full sun in rather airy locations.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 7 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer and suspend watering completely in autumn and winter.

The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
