Cyrtanthus smithiae

A specimen of succulent native to South Africa which is highly sought after for its inflorescences. It has a bulb from which elegant green spiral leaves emerge and can reach a length of 30 cm. Its beautiful lily-shaped flowers bloom in early summer together with the new foliage (the plant goes into vegetative rest, losing its old leaves). These flowers are pale pink or cream with a dark pink or brown midline. C. smithiae cannot be missing from your collection.
