Cyphostemma orondo

The name of the species literally means "plump", in reference to the woody stem that takes on the typical aspect of bonsai. Succulent decidedly peculiar and particularly appreciated for the woody caudex not very swollen but tending in nature to take on a shrubby character up to more than a meter tall, branching abundantly like a sort of small tree. From the ramifications grow pleasant large and oval leaves, rich in veins and strongly jagged along the margins. The epidermis, of a beautiful emerald green tending to blue, is almost silvery in the sun because of a microscopic down that covers it and makes it gently velvety to the touch, protecting it at the same time from atmospheric agents!
