Description:
It is an evergreen tree that in nature can reach up to 17 m in height. It branches easily, on each branch a group of palmate leaves grows, ranging in color from dark green to burgundy. The trunk is covered with thick gray or light brown bark. Its name 'spikata' derives from the arrangement of its greenish-yellow flowers that grow similar to short spikes. Cussonia spicata is ideal for adding a tropical touch to your gardens.

It likes very hot temperatures, never below 5 °C.
It needs a lot of water in hot periods. The soil must never be completely dry, however, adult plants can withstand drought for a few days.
