Description:

The variegated shape of this succulent has yellowish shades of color in places where there is a lack of chlorophyll; such shades will never be uniform and never equal in different plants thus making each of them unique and highly appreciated by collectors around the world. In its normal form Crassula cv. Hobbit is a succulent plant with a shrub habit, which can measure up to 90 cm in height. It has an erect stem, robust and branched, from which sprout tubular-shaped leaves curled backwards, bright green with reddish margins. In winter it generates small cluster flowers of pinkish white color. It is a plant very appreciated for the particular shape of its trunk and its versatility as a subject for bonsai, so ideal to give a touch of class to your apartment.

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 7 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately and only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and to suspend it completely in winter.

The best soil is a well draining and porous one, for example formed by a mix of peat and pumice so that water does not stagnate.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
