Description:

This succulent exemplar is much sought after by collectors all over the world for its particular aspect: the variegated shape of C. 'Buddha’s Temple' has yellowish spots in the places where there is a lack of chlorophyll; such spots will never be identical in different plants making each of them unique in its kind. This succulent in its normal form is born as a hybrid of C. perfoliata var. falcata x C. pyramidalis and was distributed in 1959 by nurseryman Myron Kimnach. It can reach a height of about 15 cm, from its stem emerge small overlapping thin leaves, flat and soft, with a silvery green color. Small, pale pink flowers bloom in the summer. Ideal for adding a touch of elegance to the modern style of your home.

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 7 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately and only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and to suspend it completely in winter.

The best soil is a well draining and porous one, for example formed by a mix of peat and pumice so that water does not stagnate.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
