Copiapoa militaris

It is a cactacea with a columnar, slow-growing habit, generally solitary but can also cluster at the base over time. The dull green epidermis has multiple tubercles on which oval areoles, extremely downy and of a white color, sprout. It is equipped with thin spines of variable lengths of a brownish color. Its large funnel-shaped inflorescences are yellow.
