Copiapoa humilis f. crested

It is a plant, which is highly sought after by cactus collectors for its particular fan shape, which makes each specimen unique in its kind. In its normal form it is a cactacea with a globular habit, which over time can cluster at the base. It has a slight depression at the apex and ribs defined by many rounded tubercles and small downy white areoles, from which short and thin white-greyish spines protrude. The spines darken towards black over time.
