Cleistocactus tarijensis

This cactus native to Bolivia from the cylindrical stem is initially solitary and tufts with the passage of time. Its stem is green and has numerous tuberculate ribs above which are the white and fluffy areolas. From the latter come out its spines that cover the entire stem; the radials are thin in color and white that with the passage become yellowish or brown, instead the central ones are less numerous and longer.
