Cleistocactus cajamarcensis

This cactus specimen from Peru has a cylindrical shape. Its green stem is equipped with tuberculate ribs well highlighted. Above the protruding tubercles are the white and fluffy areoles from which its spines emerge; the radials are white with black tips while the central ones are longer and brown or brownish in color. The beautiful flowers of C. cajamarcensis bloom at the top of the stem and are fuchsia pink.
