Cheiridopsis ventricosa

C. ventricosa is a beautiful small succulent that tends to expand horizontally. Its olive-green leaves are born in pairs, one in front of the other and at the point where the leaves join, bloom wonderful daisy-shaped flowers with bright colors. The period of flowering is late winter- early spring and we have showy flowers of tonalities that vary from pink to purple. In summer, during the vegetative rest the leaves of this plant begin to dry up, wrapping the new ones, in this way they form a protection against the sun rays that facilitates their growth.
