Cheiridopsis robusta

Succulent with a particular aspect, whose name refers to the facility of cultivation and the great resistance of this plant to the most varied climatic conditions, mainly due to the large quantities of water that its leaves can retain. It is a succulent dwarf, which does not exceed a few centimetres in height, but rather tends to develop horizontally by covering wide spaces. It has leaves arranged in pairs and beak-shaped, with flat upper surface and triangular lower one, whose greyish-green hue gives the plant a soft and delicate look. Every year Cheiridopsis produces new leaves that are protected from the old ones, dried like a sheath. The pastel shades of this succulent create a wonderful contrast with the large flowers that bloom in winter and enliven the environment with their beautiful bright yellow.
