Cheiridopsis denticulata

African perennial succulent, commonly known as "Carpet weed" due to its main characteristic of not reaching heights of more than 10 cm, but of developing horizontally to cover large spaces just like a herbaceous expanse. The leaves turn upwards, with their triangular section and massive thickness, often forming more than one branch and enriching with sparse teeth at the apex of some of them (hence the name of the species). The epidermis takes on a pleasant bluish-green color, almost glaucous and opaque thanks to the whitish patina that covers it to provide protection from atmospheric agents. At the end of winter, the delicate appearance of Cheiridopsis denticulata is enlivened by flowers with multi-layered petals with notes of yellow, orange or sometimes reddish.
