Cheiridopsis caroli-schmidtii

The name of the species was chosen in honor of Carl Schmidt, owner of a German nursery. It is a pretty miniature succulent, which does not exceed 7-8 cm in height but develops more horizontally, giving rise to a pleasant pillow with multiple heads up to more than 20 cm in diameter. Each seedling is formed by very fleshy leaves with triangular sections and arranged in opposite pairs but united at the base in a single body. Its epidermis takes on original tones extremely soft, of a light green almost silvery dotted with microscopic points almost transparent and translucent. In the winter season Cheiridopsis will brighten your locations with large yellow daisies flowers, while in the summer it will go into vegetative rest and the outer leaves, older and almost paper, will wrap the succulent helping to protect it from heat throughout the season!
