Cereus leucostele

C. leucostele is a cactus exemplar with a particular shape and much appreciated for this. It has tall columnar stems that can reach a height of 3 m. The color of the epidermis varies from intense green to bluish and the plant is covered with a whitish bloom that protects it. On its ribs there are numerous areoles from which radial and central spines emerge. Its beautiful, large flowers open at night, have a funnel-like shape and can be white or pink.
