It is a low-growing perennial succulent that does not exceed 5 cm in height. It produces a short and very branched stem on which small cylindrical leaves of a glaucous green color grow. As the plant grows, it expands horizontally, creating beautiful green carpets. When exposed to the direct sun or in dry cold conditions, the foliage tends to take on a pleasant reddish-pink hue at the tips. In winter, it blooms with flowers similar to daisies, of about 40 mm in diameter.
