It is a very decorative succulent plant, extremely sought after by green collectors from all over the world for its wonderful, really large and lily-like inflorescences, which is why it is often called "Candelabra Lily". It produces a bulb with a diameter of up to 15 cm, mostly out of the ground. The leaves are tongue-shaped, erect or slightly wavy, of a bluish-green color. In spring, when it enters the dormant period, the plant loses its foliage and then regenerates it in summer. From January to March it produces amazing funnel-shaped bright pink flowers with a darker central line.
