Brachystelma plocamoides

A rare perennial plant with a large brown tuber (caudex), from which long erect stems with green, elliptical and linear leaves grow. The leaves fall down during the dormant period. During the flowering season it blooms with star-shaped flowers, green on the outside and dark purple on the inside.
