Astrophytum asterias f. variegated

This small cactacea is one of the most famous and sought after Japanese cultivars. For its rarity it is considered a real must-have in every collection. Its globular stem is of a dark green color with yellow variegations, more or less wide and intense, which make it a unique specimen. The ribs are quite evident, with sparse white downy areoles. It blooms in the hottest periods of the year, generating, at the apex, large funnel-shaped flowers with petals with irregular edges.
