An extremely rare cactus, one of the largest species of the genus, which in naturethe wild reaches even 30 cm in diameter! It consists of long tubercles that are arranged as in a sort of greyish-green rosette, sometimes curved and with a pointed tip, in a typical elongated triangular shape. The fluff present between the tubercles is definitely one of the distinctive features of this genus. During cold periods, when most of the vegetation is dormant, your Ariocarpus trigonus will delight you with large yellowish-white flowers, extremely showy for their silk-like sheen!
