Despite being a Cactacea, Ariocarpus bavoanus is a plant which doesn’t have thorns. His dark green body is wrinkled and takes on a triangular shape. In the center there is some fluffy down, and in the same place one or more flowers can bloom, usually of magenta color. This is one of the most sought after, loved and desired Mexican species.
