Aloe wickensii

A. wickensii is a beautiful exemplar of succulent which grows on rocky soils in South Africa. It presents the typical compact rosette shape, formed by numerous green-grayish leaves, which takes on purple shades during periods of drought. The foliage takes on a lanceolate shape, tending to slightly bend with the growth. The leaf margins are endowed with numerous dark brown teeth. During the flowering period, in the middle of winter, this wonderful succulent will give us beautiful red and yellow flowers, extremely lively and elegant at the same time
