Aloe 'Walmsley's Blue'

The name of the genus Aloe comes from the Greek "àls-alòs" - "salt", referring to the bitter juice of its leaves. A. 'Walmsleu's Beauty' is a small succulent, which over time tends to cluster and reaches up to 30 cm in height. It grows in a rosette, and is made up of fleshy, long, narrow, pointed leaves, and covered with small teeth along the edges. With the prolonged exposure to the direct sun, the plant takes on a reddish-brown color. In winter, its small orange-red flowers bloom from a long stalk.
