Aloe vera

This succulent plant is easy to cultivate even for beginners, it is fast growing, highly sought after and appreciated for its numerous properties in cosmetics and alternative medicine. Its gel, rich in vitamins, can be used for the treatment of burns, sunburns and various dermatological problems. Its light green stem has long fleshy leaves and toothed at the margins, initially erect and tending to fall down in more mature plants. Its inflorescences take place mainly from spring to summer blooming, on long stems, with many showy yellow-orange hanging flowers. It is an unmissable plant, strongly suggested to be kept at home, because it absorbs carbon dioxide transforming it into oxygen, purifying the air.
