Aloe petricola

A medium-sized succulent plant that can reach up to 60 cm in height. In its natural habitat it grows in rocky places, from which it takes its name "petricola". Its leaves are of a bluish-gray color, with serrated margins, they have a wide base that narrows towards the tips, tending to close upwards (thus giving the plant a spherical-rounded appearance). Its inflorescences occur mainly from spring to summer blooming, on long stems, with numerous tubular flowers of showy colors: red at the apex and intense yellow in the lower part. The sap of the A. petricola has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for relieving stomach troubles.
