The name of the succulent was chosen in honor of the French biologist Jacques Millot. It is a wonderful specimen of insular Africa, consisting of a thin stem that does not exceed twenty centimeters, from which narrow and long leaves, almost tubular in shape, fleshy and strongly pointed, branch off alternately. The leaf epidermis is smooth and of a lovely light green, sometimes spotted with lighter speckles that make it inimitable. Along the margins there are soft whitish teeth, which further highlight the unusual shape of the leaf. The chromatic contrast of the whole plant undergoes a considerable advantage in the flowering period, when delightful flowers of a nice bright red or, sometimes, tending to yellow, bloom in clusters.
