Aloe meyeri

This perennial succulent exemplar can reach a length of 1m thanks to its branched stems that become drooping during its slow growth. It has a rosette shape with fleshy and lanceolate leaves of greyish green color with white dots and indented white margins. The epidermis during the drought season takes on a reddish color and the leaves become curved. Its beautiful tubular flowers grow at the apex of long stems and are red-orange with yellowish tips; bright colors help in pollination by attracting pollinating birds. A. meyeri is highly valued by collectors around the world for its very eye-catching appearance.
