Art. 40949
A rare succulent plant discovered quite recently, in the 1980s in Namibia. The word "erinacea" means "hedgehog-shaped" because in its natural habitat (coastal desert and rocky areas) its rosette-shaped leaves close up to form a sphere covered with spines. Its beautiful turquoise-green leaves are stiff and lance-shaped, and are heavily armed with white spines. A. erinacea blooms for the first time only after approximately 25 years of life, producing red-orange flowers. This plant is a must have that can't be missed in your succulent plant collection.
