This succulent plant can grow to a considerable size over time. Its stem has long, pale bluish-green leaves, fleshy, toothed at the margins and rounded at the apex. This plant initially grows erect, but tends to open up and widen into two opposite, fan-shaped rows of leaves. Its inflorescences occur mainly from spring to summer, generating on long stems clusters of numerous tubular and drooping white, sometimes pinkish, flowers with brownish streaks.
