Aeonium 'Voodoo'

This beautiful succulent plant is a hybrid of two plants: A. arboreum 'Zwartkop' and A. undulatum, created by Jack Catlin. Its large, spoon-shaped rosette leaves are of a reddish to dark purple color with a green center. With the prolonged exposure to the direct sun or during drought periods the color of the leaves intensifies. As it grows, this plant loses its basal leaves and discovers its brown smooth trunk. In spring you can admire its beautiful dull yellow flowers, which bloom from the center of the rosette. It is a perfect succulent plant to give a touch of liveliness to your balconies or window sills.
