Pleasant succulent not present in nature, but obtained in the nursery from the crossing between A. Firecracker and A. dodrentalis, to obtain an absolutely original exemplar that will certainly not go unnoticed. Arranged in the typical rather open rosette shape and with slightly upward facing foliage, this succulent has lanceolate leaves, tending to widen at the apex and then ending in a showy tip. One of the strengths of the specimen is undoubtedly the coloration: the name of the species refers precisely to its intense red hue, almost like tongues of fire that seem to burn around the center of the light green rosette! The epidermis tends to assume even more intense and dark tones when it is abundantly exposed to sunlight. To make it even more showy this plant contribute its finely ciliated margins of white color, able to give three-dimensionality to the foliage. Unlike other species, A. 'Phoenix flame' resists very well even at low temperatures: a real must have for your gardens!
