Aeonium percarneum

Extremely showy succulent, formed by a little ramified and woody stem from which grow pretty compact rosettes of long and slightly pointed leaves, spoon-shaped. Overall, the shrub does not exceed the 70 cm of height, but the rosettes that develop (about 20-30 cm of diameter) are big enough to make the plant especially ornamental. The epidermis assumes a very delicate greenish-grey colouration, made distinctive by a red margin that seems almost drawn and assumes more or less accentuated shades depending on the sun exposure. Also the surface, when properly exposed to light, gets wonderful purple shades, which contrast pleasantly with small light and delicate starry flowers.
