Probably considered a hybrid obtained from Aeonium sedifolium, this exemplar is absolutely unique both for its rarity and for the wonderful chromatic effect it gives life to. Formed by the typical compact and flat rosette arrangement, its leaves are long and lanceolate, pointed at the apex and finely ciliated along the margins. The epidermis takes on changing light green shades that fade towards a pinkish-reddish at the apexes and tend, with the growth, to be enriched by peculiar longitudinal streaks bronze-colored along the leaf (hence the name of the species "bronze medal"). Each rosette usually tends to develop at the apex of slender woody stems, which branch abundantly to give rise to a large pillow of multiple heads, for an overall effect that seems almost that of a very original floral bouquet!
