Description:
Wonderful succulent not present in nature, but obtained in the nursery as a hybridization of A. 'Blushing beauty'. Arranged in the typical wide and superficially flat rosette, this plant has elongated leaves which tend to widen at the apex and then end in a modest tip. The strength of A. 'Athena' is undoubtedly its amazing chromatic mix: the foliage, meticulously covered with a soft down that makes it velvety, takes on light green tones with a noticeably darker longitudinal stripe. Its charm is amplified even more when it is exposed to abundant sunlight, thanks to which the skin is tinged with flashy red shades with a burgundy-brown central stripe: its elegance and its visual impact will certainly not go unnoticed!

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light all year long, however avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures or over, but never below 5 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. Do so once every two weeks in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and winter.
A well-draining soil is an optimal solution, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
