This globular cactus specimen is highly prized by succulent collectors. Its stem is glaucous green in colour and has ribs. Its spines protrude from the ribs and are robust, greyish in colour and some take on brown hues. Its beautiful flowers bloom at the apex of the stem and are yellow in colour.
