Tradescantia sillamontana f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated shape of this succulent presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar will be absolutely unique! The most striking feature of the species is definitely the thick whitish down that covers the entire leaf surface, making it velvety and silvery in the sun, extremely elegant and delicate! In addition to giving it a remarkable ornamental charm, the down protects the succulent from the weather and the sun, allowing it to be more resistant than other similar. It’s not over here: between late summer and early autumn Tradescantia will surprise you when, in the midst of the delicate shades of the plant, will bloom graceful flowers with three petals in shades of lilac, very lively and cute!
