Also known as Parodia scopa var. sulfurea, N. suphureus f.variegata is a cactus with a globose shape that, while growing, over time, becomes columnar. Its green stem is covered by thick and fluffy white areoles, from which come out many small thorns of an intense yellow/ orange colour.
